WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends.
ILEP is a federation of autonomous anti-leprosy non-governmental organisations, which are supporting medical, scientific, social and humanitarian activities for the relief and rehabilitation of persons affected by leprosy. Their approach is holistic and based on the human rights of all those affected by this disease.
TBCTA - The Tuberculosis Control Assistance Program (TB CAP) is a USAID five year cooperative agreement (2005-2010) that has been awarded to TBCTA with KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation as the lead partner. The Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance (TBCTA) is a unique coalition of the major international organizations in TB control.
